Egyptian TV, citing the local Extra News TV channel, stated that Egypt's Ambassador to the European Union, Badr Abdel Aty, will assume the position of Foreign Minister, succeeding Sameh Shoukry.

Reports stated that Sherif Farouk, Chairman of the Board of Directors of the Egyptian National Postal Authority, is expected to assume the position of Minister of Supply, succeeding Ali Al-Moselhi.
