The Ukrainian Air Force announced that the defenses shot down 13 out of 17 drones launched by Russia over 5 regions in the east, north and center of the country.

Regional officials said that one of the Russian drones hit an energy facility in the Sumy region, while another struck a site in the Chernihiv region.

They added that maintenance teams rushed to the strike sites.

There have been no reports yet of any injuries, according to Reuters.

Russian forces have intensified their attacks with missiles and drones on energy infrastructure in Ukraine since March, which has led to the disruption of about half of the available power generation operations and led to long-term power outages for millions.

On the other hand, the Russian Ministry of Defense announced on Saturday that its forces destroyed 26 Ukrainian marches targeting the Rostov region.

The governor of the Russian Rostov region, Vasily Golubev, said today, Saturday, on his account on the Telegram platform: “Last night, the air defense forces intercepted and destroyed 26 drones in the Rostov region, and there were no casualties as a result of the attack.”
