The file will be delivered in the French capital, Paris, by the official delegation headed by the Minister of Sports, Chairman of the Saudi Olympic and Paralympic Committee, Prince Abdulaziz bin Turki bin Faisal bin Abdulaziz, and the President of the Saudi Football Federation, Yasser Al-Misehal.

Prince Abdulaziz bin Turki bin Faisal said, "With this candidacy, we intend to host the exceptional version that brings together 48 teams for the first time in the history of the tournament in one country."

He added in statements to the media today, Monday, "The direct supervision of the Crown Prince over the Kingdom's candidacy file to host this major football event embodies His Highness's keenness to move forward towards building the future of sports in the Kingdom in accordance with the goals of the Kingdom's Vision 2030, and to prove to the whole world what our country possesses in terms of young energies capable of hosting the most important and largest global sporting events."

The submission stage of the candidacy file comes within the context of the official candidacy stages to host the 2034 World Cup, starting with the stage of the Kingdom announcing through the Saudi Football Federation its intention to host on October 4, 2023, through the Saudi Football Federation sending the official candidacy letter to the International Federation of Association Football, followed by the launch of the official identity for the candidacy file bearing the slogan "Together We Grow", and reaching the official announcement of the host country for the tournament during the meeting of the General Assembly of the International Federation of Association Football in December of this year.

In October 2023, the Swiss Gianni Infantino, President of the International Federation of Association Football, announced granting the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia the honor of hosting the 2034 World Cup, after it applied alone to host the tournament.

Saudi Arabia has thus become the third Arab country to host the World Cup after Qatar 2022 and Morocco, which will host the event jointly with Spain and Portugal in 2030.

FIFA confirmed that Saudi Arabia is the only country that has applied to host the 2034 World Cup, after Australia announced its withdrawal from the hosting race, while the Asian continent decided not to submit any other file and to be satisfied with Saudi Arabia's offer to host the tournament.
