On Tuesday, the Emir of Qatar, Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad Al Thani, discussed with the Saudi Foreign Minister, Prince Faisal bin Farhan bin Abdullah Al Saud, Saudi-Qatari relations, and ways to develop and strengthen them, according to the Qatar News Agency (QNA).
The Saudi Foreign Minister made a visit, heading a delegation from the Kingdom, on Tuesday, to Qatar, where he was received by Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad, in his office in the Amiri Diwan.
During the interview, they "reviewed the fraternal relations between the two countries and ways to develop and strengthen them, in addition to discussing a number of regional and international issues of common interest," according to QNA.
The Qatari agency reported that the Saudi Foreign Minister conveyed to the Emir of Qatar “the greetings of the Saudi King, King Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud, and his Crown Prince, Prince Mohammed bin Salman, and their wishes of good health to Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad, and to the Qatari people continued progress and prosperity.”
For his part, “The Emir of Qatar and the Saudi Foreign Minister conveyed his greetings to his brother, the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques, and to the Saudi Crown Prince, and his wishes for good health for them and for the brotherly Saudi people further progress and development,” according to what the Qatari agency said.
The meeting was attended by Sheikh Mohammed bin Abdulrahman bin Jassim Al Thani, Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs of Qatar.
