Al-Nassr Saudi Arabia and its Portuguese star Cristiano Ronaldo continued its awakening and achieved its third victory in a row, when, on Saturday evening, it defeated its host Al-Hazm 5-1.
“The Don” was among the five goal scorers, as he scored a goal in the 68th minute of the second half. This is the 850th goal in the Portuguese star's career.
Ronaldo is the only top scorer in the Saudi League, with six goals, one goal ahead of Senegalese Sadio Mane and Al-Ittihad striker, Moroccan Abdel Razzaq Hamdallah.
After the match, Ronaldo said on his official Instagram account: “Another good performance! We continue to improve. 850 goals in the campaign and the number is still rising.”
Al-Nasr also commented on the performance of its Portuguese player, saying on its official account on “X” (formerly Twitter): “6 goals and 4 assists in just one month.”
After Al-Nasr lost its first two matches in the league this season, it became runner-up to last season’s champion, who scored 14 goals in the last three matches, and is now only four points behind leaders Al-Hilal.
