Yesterday, Wednesday, Israeli Defense Minister Yoav Galant attacked his colleague in Benjamin Netanyahu's government, National Security Minister Itamar Ben Gvir, and accused him of trying to "blow up the Middle East."
Yoav Gallant said in his account on the “X” platform that Ben Gvir “is constantly trying to blow up the Middle East.”
He added, "I categorically reject any ideas that would prejudice the status quo in the holy city of Jerusalem."
Gallant's attack on Ben Gvir came after the latter announced that Jews would be allowed to perform prayers in Al-Aqsa Mosque in occupied East Jerusalem.
Yesterday, Wednesday, Ben Gvir said in the Knesset, “I am the political level (the government) and the political level allows Jews to pray on the Temple Mount (Al-Aqsa Mosque),” according to what was reported by the Israeli Broadcasting Corporation.
It is noteworthy that since assuming office in December 2022, the Minister of National Security has repeatedly stormed Al-Aqsa Mosque, and always incites its storming.
